Speed Mini App Listing Standards
Find all the essential information regarding the Speed Mini Apps listing standards.
About these standards
Mini Apps are curated shortcuts inside Speed Wallet. Each one opens an independent business's own website in a secure in-app browser. The businesses operate their own services under their own terms; customers pay them directly from their Speed crypto balance over the Lightning Network. Speed1 Inc. does not operate Mini Apps and does not receive, hold, or settle payments made to them.
Because we curate the list, we set standards for what appears on it. These standards describe what a service must be to be listed, what is never listed, how we review requests, and when listings are removed.
Eligibility
To be considered for listing, a service must:
Be an operating business with a functional public website and genuine products or services.
Identify itself: legal or trading name, where it operates, and a working customer-support channel.
Accept payment over the Lightning Network from customers' own wallets.
Publish clear pricing, terms of service, and a refund or support policy.
Offer only products and services that are lawful in the jurisdictions it serves.
Describe itself accurately in its listing request and keep that description accurate.
Prohibited categories
The following are never listed, without exception:
Illegal goods or services of any kind.
Sexual services or adult content; any content involving minors.
Weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
Narcotics, controlled substances, or related paraphernalia.
Gambling, betting, or lottery services.
Investment schemes, guaranteed-return programs, high-yield investment programs, or pyramid and multi-level marketing structures.
Mixing, tumbling, or other services designed to obscure the origin or destination of funds.
Money services — exchange, remittance, or payment services — operating without required licenses or registrations.
Counterfeit goods or services that infringe others' intellectual property.
Malware, hacking tools or services, stolen data, or the sale of personal information.
Content or services promoting hate, violence, or harassment.
Any person, entity, or jurisdiction subject to applicable sanctions.
Enhanced-review categories
Some categories are permitted only after additional review, which may include verification of licensure, fraud controls, and operator track record:
Gift cards and prepaid products.
Crowdfunding and donation platforms.
Financial tools, trading, or savings services.
Privacy tools and VPN services.
Digital subscriptions and recurring-membership services.
eCommerce merchants accepting Bitcoin or Stablecoin payments.
How we review
Listing requests are reviewed before anything appears in Speed Wallet. Review includes verification of the business and its website, category screening against these standards, and screening of the business and its identifiable principals against applicable sanctions lists. Listing decisions are made at Speed's sole discretion, and we may decline a request without stating a reason.
Staying listed
Listed services are re-reviewed periodically and whenever complaints or changes warrant it. A listed service must keep its description accurate, keep its website and payments working, respond to its customers, and notify us of material changes to what it offers.
Removal
We may suspend or remove a listing at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion — including for movement into a prohibited category, unlawful conduct, sanctions exposure, patterns of fraud or unresolved complaints, misrepresentation, or a non-functional service.
Important notices
A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any service.
