Risk Disclosure
Speed provides payment infrastructure and related technology services only. Nothing on this website, in Speed's marketing materials, or communicated by Speed's representatives constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or use any digital asset. You should seek independent financial, legal, and tax advice before making any decisions related to crypto-assets.
The value of crypto-assets is highly volatile and speculative. Market price is determined solely by supply and demand and can fluctuate dramatically based on market sentiment, regulatory announcements, technological developments, macro-economic conditions, and the actions of large market participants. You may lose all of the money or value you put into crypto-assets. Crypto-assets are not covered by any government deposit guarantee scheme or investor compensation scheme, and are not equivalent to bank deposits.
Crypto-asset transactions are final and irreversible once confirmed on the network. There is no chargeback mechanism, and payments sent to incorrect addresses cannot be recovered. Users are solely responsible for verifying all payment details before authorising any transaction.
Speed's infrastructure supports Bitcoin (BTC), USDT, and USDC. Blockchain transactions depend on third-party node operators and miners; network congestion, protocol changes, or infrastructure unavailability may delay or prevent transactions. Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC are designed to maintain a fixed value but may lose their fixed value due to issuer insolvency, reserve shortfalls, or adverse market conditions. Loss of cryptographic private key access results in permanent and irrecoverable loss of associated crypto-assets.
